The ideal candidate must have 2+ years of experience in a veterinary hospital or boarding facility. AviMark Veterinary Software experience preferred. A high school diploma is required. Bilingual would be great as well!

Our goal at Critter Care Animal Hospital is to provide the finest in medical, surgical, and custodial care to all pets that come through our doors. In stating that, we need to care for their human counterparts that bring them into us, aiding them with education, support, and compassion. We are a fast-paced small animal veterinary practice that prides itself on teamwork and GOOD attitudes!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Feed, provide fresh water, and medicate all dogs and cats by their following specific schedule and special feeding instructions, including injectable medications
• Walking dogs and cleaning litter boxes regularly
• Monitor patients in day care
• Bathing, brushing, and trimming nails for both dogs and cats
• Be punctual
• Assisting the groomer, veterinary technicians, and doctors as needed
• Cleaning cages, doing laundry, and maintaining hospital premises
• Provide tours for clients and confidently answer any questions about the services we provide
• Ability to read the body language of pets and handle as appropriate
• Let Veterinary Technicians and Doctors know when a boarding patients needs medical attention
• You must be able to lift at least 50lb safely

Experience: The ideal candidate must have 1+ years of experience in a veterinary hospital or boarding facility. AviMark Veterinary Software experience preferred. A high school diploma is required. Bilingual would be great as well!

We are seeking an EXPERIENCED and talented Veterinary Technician that can…

• Draw blood
• Perform dental cleanings
• Place IV catheters
• Create and review estimates with clients
• Maintain all surgical equipment and supplies
• Perform follow-up calls on patients with problems
• Run in-house lab work
• Calculate drug dosages
• Be punctual
• Can safely lift a dog up to 50lbs
• Induce, maintain, and monitor anesthesia
• Take digital & dental radiographs
• Get detailed history from clients and vitals on patients
• Administer injections and oral medication
• Read fecal samples & ear cytology’s
• Go over discharge instructions and post-operative care
• Restrain pets for examination and treatment by veterinarian
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly cleaning duties
